New Customers
All accounts must have a city or county privilege license and have a Retail Certificate to operate as a retailer, wholesaler or manufacturer. This means customers must be recognized at the state and federal level to place tax-exempt orders for the purpose of manufactoring or resale.
Territories
We reserve the right to protect zip codes or areas within 3 miles of active retail partners. We cannot guarantee complete protection, but will do our very best to navigate around potential conflict. Accounts must order twice per year to remain active, or opening order minimums will apply.
Terms of Sale
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. All first orders are shipped under prepaid conditions. Credit Cards are charged at the time of shipment! Net 30 can be applied for after 1 year and/or 3 prepaid orders. - To apply: email credit references including at least 3 wholesale vendor references and a bank reference to inhouse@ambientandcompany.com A 1.5% monthly interest charge, applicable by state laws, will be applied on late payments. . We do accept C.O.D. orders. Order cancellations at the request of the customer must be submitted in written format via email. inhouse@ambientandcompany.com
Minimums Opening wholesale orders $125.- | Re-orders $100.- All items not ordered in appropriate minimum units or multiples may be bumped up. All minimums are subject to change without notice.

Shipping
All orders are shipped prepaid using our Ambient House Account with UPS Ground Service. Alternate shipping method per request will incur additional handling charges. Orders are generally shipped within 3 days of receipt, unless special accommodations have been made for special truck service or warehouse pick-up.
Customer Order Pick-Up Retail partners who want to pick-up their orders are more than welcome to do so upon request. Orders must be admitted in advance and a specific "time of pick-up" will be scheduled. We do not encourage "warehouse drop-ins" or "warehouse shopping", unless prior arrangements were made.
Backorders
Backorders will automatically be generated unless specified. Customer will be notified before items are shipped, to extend the offer of adding product.
Claims Freight damages are the responsibility of the carrier. Ambient will submit a carrier claim on behalf of customer if value of items damaged exceed $75.- and if Ambient is notified within 5 days of delivery in writing. An email containing images and description needs to be sent to inhouse@ambientandcompany.com Keep all packaging materials as the carrier may request to inspect or pick-up merchandise. Should Ambient products be defective - contact us within 5 days of receipt and merchandise will be replaced on future order, no adjustments to invoice may be made and refunds will not be given.
Returns
Returns are not accepted without prior approval, and may be subject to a 15% restocking fee plus freight. Because Ambient Candles are RUSTIC there will be some variations in texture, color, and finish, as well as slight irregularities. These are not considered flaws or defects.
